Amit is a results-driven Quality & Food Safety professional, leveraging in-depth knowledge of FSMA, SQF, HACCP and Six Sigma. He is experienced in building a Customer Centric Culture of Quality, via employee engagement and positive reinforcement. Passionate about Continuous Improvement at work & personal career development. Amit brings with him 20+ years’ experience across 10+ product categories with key strengths as follows:

Since 2019, Amit has been with Bunge Canada, leading Quality & Food Safety (QFS) function for 9 manufacturing locations (3 direct reports and 9 indirect reports). Prior to this, Amit was PepsiCo foods’ Regional Quality Food Safety Manager (RQFSM), supporting 8 Frito Lay & Quaker plants in Canada on FSMA everyday audit readiness, Quality and Food Safety Initiatives.

Previously Amit lead Quality initiatives for Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee, Kraft Canada Inc., and other multinationals. Amit has numerous GFSI-recognized designations and an MBA Food & Agribusiness from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
