Senior Manager, Food Safety

Isabel oversees all food safety initiatives at Plenty, an indoor vertical agtech company that focuses on precision, vertical farming to grow fresh, flavorful and pesticide-free produce. In this role, Isabel manages Plenty’s Food Safety program as part of the legal and compliance team. Since 2014, Isabel has been immersed in the vertical farming world and is deeply passionate about solving the current problems in our global food system. Before joining Plenty, she held engineering and operations roles for Trigrow Systems, Agrinamics and PodPonics. Isabel is an advocate for using technology and the power of science as a means for a sustainable future and hopes to build a farm on Mars someday. Isabel received her Bachelor of Science in international agriculture development from the University of California Davis. She holds an HACCP certification from the National Environmental Health Association.
