Riccardo is Director of Digital Food Science at Ripe.io. where he oversees the digitization of consumer related data (eg Taste perception) and manages full scale Quality and Sustainability related projects with Ingredient and CPG companies. Neuroscientist by training, with expertise in Food & Flavor perception, he brings 15+ years experience in Innovation and Product Development in the Food and Flavor industry. Since 2014, Riccardo also mentored food tech startups, providing technical and business support across the food value chain, with a specific focus on ingredient innovation, quality and go-to-market strategy. Riccardo obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from the Swiss Polytechnic Federal Institute (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a MEng magna cum laude in Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Milan, Italy.
