Maria Blaszyk

Food Safety Program Manager

Maria Blaszyk is a Food Safety Program Manager at Sysco, where she contributes to the development and effective implementation of food safety preventive control plans and procedures to support BRC standards and regulatory requirements.  Her priority is to improve accountability for food safety through training, internal auding and collaborating to advance food safety objectives.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the food safety field including developing and implementing food safety and quality systems, working with various certification standards and research.

Maria is an active member of the BRSGS Professional and holds a master’s degree in food science from the University of Manitoba.
