Parviz Yousefian

Food Science Professor

Parviz Yousefian is a Food Scientist with over 20 years of academic experience and more than 20 years of professional experience in the food and cannabis industries. He has served as a Professor and Program Coordinator for Food Safety and Quality programs in Canada, developing and teaching courses in HACCP, GMP, food regulations, quality systems, and product development.
In industry, Parviz has held senior leadership roles as Quality Assurance Manager, Operations Manager, and Consultant, where he successfully implemented HACCP, GFSI, and GMP programs, led regulatory audits, and guided companies through compliance, certification, and product innovation.
Parviz combines strong academic insight with practical, hands-on expertise. His workshops focus on applying HACCP and food safety principles to real-world operations, helping participants enhance regulatory compliance, strengthen quality systems, and foster a strong food safety culture.
